Overview:
Centrifugal spray drying is the most widely used process in the liquid forming and drying industries. It is ideal for powders to produce solid products in powdery and granular forms from raw materials such as solutions, emulsions, suspensions and pasty liquid. Therefore, centrifugal spray drying is very desirable for the processes where the granule size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density and granule shape of the finished product must meet the criteria strictly.
Working principle:
The air enters into the air distributor at the top of the dryer after being filtrated and heated. The hot air spirally enters the drying chamber. The feed liquid is (rotated) sprayed into very fine mist-like liquid beads by a high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower, and in co-current contact with the hot air. The finished product can be get from drying in a very short time. The finished product is continuously output from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, and the waste gas is exhausted by the fan.
Application examples
Food:Amino acids, vitamins, egg powder, bone meal, seasonings, protein, milk powder, porcine blood powder, soy sauce powder, coffee, tea powder, glucose, potassium sorbate, pectin, flavor and fragrance, vegetable juice, yeast, starch, etc.
Ceramics:Alumina, zirconia, magnesium oxide, titanium oxide, magnesium titanate, pottery clay, porcelain clay, various ferrites and metal oxides
Chemicals:Polymeric alumina, disperse dyes, reactive dyes, organic catalysts, white carbon black, washing powder, zinc sulfate, silica, sodium metasilicate, potassium fluoride, calcium carbonate, potassium phosphate, electrodeless catalyst, various wastes liquid etc.
